David Balfour is an orphan with an inheritance. His greedy uncle goes to the extent of scheming to have David kidnapped and sold into slavery. In the book , David experiences a shipwreck , a hazardous journey with a daredevil companion , and some desperate fighting . In the end there is the triumph of justice ..
